 Zendaya Maree Stoermer Cole[2] (/z@n’deI.@ Z@n-DAY 3] was born 1 September 1996.4][5) is an American actor, singer and performer. She has received various accolades and awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people on the planet on its annual list for 2022.Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya began her career as a child performer and model. In 2010 she made her TV debut on Shake It Up, as Rocky Blue. She also appeared in K.C. as the title character. The channel's show was the character undercover (2015-2018). The actress made her debut in a feature film with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Later she was in the sequels. Zendaya's character Rue Bennett, a struggling drug-addicted teenager, on the HBO teen drama series Euphoria (2019-present) has made her the youngest winner of two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Her film roles include the musical The Greatest Showman (2017) and the romance drama Malcolm & Marie (2021) and the science-fiction epic Dune (2021).In addition to her acting work Zendaya has also branched out into the world of music. She released "Watch Me" and "Swag it Out" in the year 2011. The latter was in collaboration with Bella Thorne. She was signed to Hollywood Records in 2012. Her debut studio album (2013) that she called "Replay" was a moderately successful release. The album's opening track, "Replay", reached the top 40 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Zendaya's biggest commercial success as an artist came with "Rewrite The Stars", an Zac Efron collaboration. The song was released on The Greatest Showman soundtrack 2018. The song ranked within the top 20 of several record charts and has received multi-platinum sales certificates across the globe.
