 Zendaya Maree Stoermer Cole[2] (/z@n’deI.@ Z@n-DAY 3] was born September 1, 1996.5) is an American actress, singer and performer. She has won numerous awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards. Time magazine named Zendaya one of the top 100 influential people in the world in its 2022 annual list. In 2010, she made her TV debut on Shake It Up, as Rocky Blue. Later she appeared in sequels. Zendaya's role as Rue Bennett, a struggling drug addicted teenager, in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria (2019-present) made her the youngest recipient of two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Zendaya's film roles include The Greatest Showman (2017) and Malcolm & Marie (2021) in addition to the science-fiction epic Dune (2021). The singer has released "Watch Me" and "Swag it Out" in 2011. This was a collaboration with Bella Thorne. In 2012, she signed with Hollywood Records. The album, titled "Eponymous," (2013) was released with moderate success. The album's first single, "Replay", reached the top 40 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Zendaya's biggest commercial success as a performer came with her Zac Efron collaboration "Rewrite the Stars" which was released from The Greatest Showman soundtrack in 2018. The song ranked within the top 20 of several chart positions and was awarded multi-platinum sales certifications globally.
