Will Ferrell

 John William Ferrell (/fer@l/) [1] was born July 16th, 1967.[2][3] He is a popular American actor, comedian and producer. Ferrell first came to prominence in the late 1990s as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, where Ferrell appeared from 1995 until 2002. He then appeared in comedy films, including Elf (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Kicking & Screaming (2005), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Semi-Pro (2008), and Land of the Lost (2009). The comedy website was founded by Funny or Die in 2007 along with his co-writer Adam McKay. Other noteworthy performances include The Other Guys (2010) and The Campaign (2012). Holmes & Watson (2018) and animated films Curious George (2006) and Megamind (2010). Ferrell is part of the "Frat Pack", a group of the best Hollywood comedians who emerged in the latter part of the 1990s and 2000s. The group includes Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Steve Carell. Rudd and brothers Owen Wilson. He received nominations for an Emmy Award for Saturday Night Live as well as three Golden Globe Award nominations, for his performances in Stranger than Fiction (2006) as well as Vice (2018). Ferrell was also named the best comedian of 2015 by the British GQ Men of the Year awards. Ferrell was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 24 in 2015.
