Irina Shayk

 Shayk was born in Yemanzhelinsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Soviet Union to a Volga Tatar dad, Valery Shaykhlislamov (a coal miner) and an ethnic Russian mother, Olga (a Kindergarten music teacher). [7] She has stated that her appearance came from her father and she is often misinterpreted by people for being South American, saying, "My father was dark-skinned because he was Tatar and sometimes Tatars appear Brazilian. My mom gave me light eyes. "[7] She is the sister of Tatiana Petenkova who is also her sister. Tatiana has three children, Tatiana is her aunt. Tatiana also has a niece named "Irina". She started playing piano when she was 6. When she was nine years old she entered a music school and studied at the school for seven years, playing piano and singing in the choir since her mother wanted to take her studies in music. When she was 14 years old, her father died from complications of pneumonia. Her mother was forced to do two jobs to support her family. Shayk then studied marketing [9] but decided to attend a beauty school instead. There she was recognized by a person from an agency for modeling local to her who was impressed with her appearance. She was encouraged to take part in the "Miss Chelyabinsk 2004" beauty contest that she won. she described the contest as far below the standard of beauty contests that one would expect to see in metropolitan European cities or in the United States.
