Salma Hayek

 Salma Hayek Pinault, /'haIek/ HY -ek; Spanish: ['salma xajek['salma xajek Valgarma Hayek Jimenez;[nt 1, September 2 (in 1966)]][3][4][55) is an American and Mexican producer and actress. Her career began in Mexico with her starring role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), for which she was awarded an Ariel Award nomination. The actress quickly made her mark in Hollywood with appearances in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999).Hayek's portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002) that she also directed was the first Mexican actress to be nominated to the Academy Award for Best Actress[6In addition, she earned the Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce and starred in action-oriented films Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) and After the Sunset (2004). The commercial success continued with Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups 2 (2013). She also contributed her voice to animated Puss in Boots (2011) and The Pirates! (2012) and Sausage Party (2016); and received praise for her roles in the dramatic films Tale of Tales (2015), Beatriz at Dinner (2017) and House of Gucci (2021). Her highest-grossing live-action film was Eternals (2012), in which she played Ajak.
