Cox began her dance career when she was just four years old, in different ballet productions. She started acting when she was 10 and appeared in several movies and guest-starring in shows like Baywatch, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Mama's Family, Eerie, Indiana, and Blossom. Matthew, her brother, guest-starred in a few episodes and one of them was where the actor wore a mask of Ghostface (the kind of mask used in Scream). Matthew was her brother and appeared in a few episodes. One episode had him wearing a Ghostface mask (the mask featured in Scream). Taylor Clayton was played by Cox in the sitcom of ABC, The Norm Show. She appeared in 27 episodes. Next, she was the star of Nikki White on Nikki (2000-2002).
