Natasha Henstridge

 Thiessen was a participant in beauty contests as a young girl and was awarded Miss Junior America in 1987. She was named Teen magazine's "Great Model Search" winner in 1989. The magazine named her Cover Girl's Model of the Year in 1989. The same year, she landed her first television role as Kelly Kapowski on the NBC series Saved by the Bell. She starred until 1993. Thiessen was rewarded with Young Artist Award nominations in 1990 for Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast, and in 1993, for the award of the award for Best Young Actress on an Off Primetime Series. Thiessen also guest starred in series like Married... with Children and Charles in Charge. In 1992, she was a star in her first TV movies Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style and A Killer Among Friends, making her debut film appearance in Son in Law in 1993. After her stint on Saved by the Bell, she was a part of Saved by the Bell's single-season spin-off Saved by the Bell, The College Years (1993-1994) as well as in Saved by the Bell's television movie Saved by the Bell's Wedding in Las Vegas (1994). Thiessen was cast as Valerie Malone in Fox’s Aaron Spelling-produced hit show for teens Beverly Hills, 1990210 to fill the gap left by Shannen Doherty. She was the first actress to join directly the main cast of the show. She played Valerie until 1998 when she quit in the first episodes of the ninth season. In the course of starring on 90210, Thiessen began to take on continuous dramatic leading roles in television films: The Stranger Beside Me (1995) and She Fought Alone (1995), Sweet Dreams and Buried Secrets in 1996. Thiessen was in a range of films following her departure from 90210 including Speedway Junky (1999), From Dusk Till Dawn 2 Texas Blood Money (1999), Love Stinks (99), and The Ladies Man (2000). Thiessen also appeared in guest roles on NewsRadio (1999), Two Guys and a Girl (2000) and Just Shoot Me! (2001) as well as Good Morning, Miami (2003-04). In 2000, she was featured in the music video for "You're a God" by Vertical Horizon, portraying a beauty pageant contestant, in her debut appearance in a music video. That year she also changed her middle name to one that was used professionally for several years. She is now known as Tiffani Thiessen. 5 Thiessen was the first choice of Spelling to replace Doherty on Charmed in 2001. But, she turned down his offer , hoping that the NBC pilot for Everything But the Girl would take her on. Six years later, the role was given to Rose McGowan.
