Joe Walsh

 Walsh who was a student at Kent State University in the 1960s, played with several Ohio-based groups. He then joined the James Gang, which was a hit song that featured his skills as a singer and guitarist. Roger Abramson, a concert producer and manager of artists was the one who signed the James Gang to an agreement for management with BPI in Cleveland. After the band disbanded in 1972, James Gang in 1972, he formed Barnstorm with Joe Vitale, a college friend from Ohio, and Kenny Passarelli, a bassist from Colorado which is in the state where Walsh was based after leaving Ohio. Although the group remained together for three albums spread over three years, its albums were promoted as Walsh solo projects. The final Barnstorm album, 1974's So What contained notable guest performances from members of the Eagles which was recently hired as Walsh's producer, Bill Szymczyk.
