James Thomas Fallon Boudreaux (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, television host actor, writer, and actor. He is well-known for his roles as an Saturday Night Live cast member and host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 1998, he was asked to join the Saturday Night Live cast member. This fulfilled a long-held desire. He was on SNL for six years from 1998 and 2004 hosting the show's Weekend Update segment and becoming well known in the process. Fallon left SNL to star in films such as Taxi (2004) as well as Fever Pitch (2005). In 2009, Fallon was back on television hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NBC. He is popular for his work on music and video gaming. In 2014, he was the sixth host of the popular Tonight Show. In addition to his television work, he has also released two comedy albums and seven books, mainly directed at children.
