Jill Hennessy

 Hennessy was born Edmonton, Alberta. Her father, John Hennessy, was an animal salesman and a sales/marketing executive, a job that required considerable travel and resulted in frequent changes for the family. Maxine was her mother. She was a secretary. Her daughter was taken away by Eleanor Her paternal grandmother from Kitchener, Ontario. There is a younger brother, John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and an identical twin sister named Jacqueline, who is an editor for magazines and a TV show host in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian roots on her father's side and most Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian and Austrian ancestry from her mother's side. She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both located in Kitchener Ontario. She utilized to work as a busker in the Toronto subway.
