Her film debut came with a supporting role in the drama Garden Party (2008), and had her breakthrough playing an impoverished teenager in the independent crime drama Winter's Bone (2010). Lawrence rose to stardom as Mystique, a mutant in the X-Men series (2011-2019) and Katniss Everdeen (2012-2015) in The Hunger Games series. This made her the highest-grossing action heroine of all time Lawrence received various accolades for her three collaborations with filmmaker David O. Russell. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress (2012) for her performance as a young widow who has issues in Silver Linings Playbook (2012). She was the second-youngest recipient in this category, with a age of age 22. For her role as a feisty wife in American Hustle (2013), she was awarded the BAFTA Award in Best Actress in Supporting Role.
