J. Cole

 Jermaine Cole, who was born January 28, 1985 , in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a popular American rapper and record-producer. Born on the military base in Germany and born in Fayetteville, North Carolina,[4] Cole initially gained recognition as a rapper with the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in the beginning of 2007. Cole released his first album as a studio artist, Cole World, The Sideline Story in 2011, in an effort to pursue the music industry. The album reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. [5Born Sinner Born Sinner (2013) was his second album, and it was the top album on the Billboard 200. The album shifted to more conscious themes, 2014's Forest Hills Drive (2014) was a top album on the Billboard 200 and earned Cole the Best Rap Album nomination at the 2015 Grammy Awards. The jazz-influenced fourth album 4 Your Eyez Only (2016) was released at the top spot on the Billboard 200. [7] Cole's fifth album KOD (2018) was the fifth album to be ranked number one on the Billboard 200. It featured six consecutive top 20 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. This was tied with the Beatles. The sixth studio album, KOD (2018) was his fifth number-one album on the Billboard 200. The album also had the record for most simultaneously top twenty hits on the Hot 100 of the Billboard charts. The album was Cole's sixth album to be a number one. [9] He has also created other ventures, such as Dreamville Records, as well as a non-profit organisation known as the Dreamville Foundation. Dreamville's 2019 compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. It was nominated for the 2020 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. In January of 2015, Cole decided to house single mothers in his childhood home located in Fayetteville, North Carolina
