 methyst Amelia Kelly (born 7 June 1990) who is professionally known as Iggy Azalea (/@'zeIli @/), is an Australian rapper, songwriter, and model. Azalea aged 16, moved to the United States to pursue a music career. Azalea was recognized by the media following the release of music videos of her songs "Pussy" and "Two Times" on YouTube and both quickly gained popularity. After releasing her debut mixtape "Ignorant Art", Azalea signed a record deal with American rapper T.I. The New Classic (2014) was her first studio album was a top five album on numerous charts across the globe, but received mixed reviews from industry professionals. The album made it to the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Azalea was the first American female rapper to achieve the top spot. 2. The New Classic was preceded in the U.S. by Azalea's debut single "Work", and chart-topping single "Fancy" featuring CharliXCX. Billboard Hot 100. Azalea was featured on Ariana Grande's 2014 single "Problem", which reached number two after "Fancy". With these singles, Azalea became the second musician (behind The Beatles) group to be ranked at number one and two on the Hot 100 with their debut appearances on the charts. [3][4][5] She also scored three top ten hits simultaneously with the Hot 100's aforementioned songs, as and the fifth track from the album, "Black Widow", with Rita Ora, which debuted later in the year.
