Ryan started appearing in television commercials in her teens. In 2006, she made her TV debut on the show Barney & Friends. Ryan's first film appearance was in 2007 as a guest character in Barney Let's Go To the Firehouse in which she played the character of a teenaged girl. She was featured in several commercials for iDog as well as different board games, as well as an iDog Dance commercial.
