 Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (/k@'mi:l@ k@'beIoU/ American Spanish: [ka'mila ka'bejo]; born on March 3, 1997)[1] is a Cuban-born American singer and songwriter. 2] She came to fame as a part of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. While in Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish her own identity as a solo artist through the release of her collaborations "I Know What You Did the Last Summer" together with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter achieving the number 4 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. She left the group in late 2016.Her debut studio album, Camila (2018), reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The RIAA awarded the platinum certification to the Latin-influenced pop album. The album was well-received by critics. The album's opening track, "Havana", topped the charts in a number of countries which included the UK as well as the US. "Never be the Same," the single that followed, reached the top ten across multiple countries. Cabello's 2019 duet with Mendes, "Senorita", was her second song to top the Billboard Hot 100. Romance (2019), her album that she released as her second studio album, was ranked 3rd. The single "Senorita" was a duet that Cabello recorded with the group in 2019 was ranked 12 on both the Hot 100 and the Hot 100.
