Britney Spears

 Britney Jean Spears (born on December 2 1981) is an American artist, singer, and dancer. Often known as the "Princess of Pop" She is credited with influencing the revival of teen pop during the late 1990s and early 2000s. After being featured in stage productions and TV shows, Spears signed with Jive Records in 1997 at age fifteen. Her first two studio albums, ...Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops !... I Did It Again (2000), are among the top-selling albums of all time and have made Spears the top-selling teenager artist of all time. With sales in the first week of more than 1.3 million copies, Oops !... Oops!... held the title of the top-selling female album in America for fifteen years. Spears took on a more mature and aggressive style for her albums Britney (2001) and In the Zone (2003) as well as a role in the 2002 film Crossroads.Spears was the executive producer for her album Blackout, her fifth studio album. Blackout (2007) which is often referred to as her best work. Spears was put in uninvoluntary conservatorship following a series of publicized personal issues. In the years since, she has released her chart-topping albums Circus (2008) and Femme Fatale (2011), which later became her most successful era of singles on the US charts. Britney began a four-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Britney: Piece of Me. This was to promote her upcoming albums, Britney Jean (2013), as well as Glory (2016). The legal battle she waged for conservatorship in 2019 was more widely known, leading to the creation of the movement #FreeBritney. After her testimony in public, in which she accused her family and management of abuse, the conservatorship was terminated in 2021.
