Alicia Silverstone

 Alicia Silverstone (/@lI'si:@(/@-li-SEE -@;[1born on 4th October 1976)[2] is an American actress. Her film debut was in the thriller The Crush (1993), earning the 1994 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, and gained further prominence at age 16 as a popular teen idol when she appeared in the Aerosmith's music video "Cryin'". She was later cast as Cher Horowitz in the teen comedy Clueless (1995) and brought her a multi-million-dollar contract with Columbia Pictures. In 1997, she appeared in the huge-budget superhero film Batman & Robin, playing Batgirl. Silverstone earned an Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for her part in the short-lived NBC series Miss Match (2003). Silverstone has continued to perform in both television and film, as well as on stage. A vegan, Silverstone has endorsed PETA activities and has published two cookbooks: The Kind Diet (2009) and The Kind Mama (2014).
