Abbie Cornish

 Cornish started modeling at the age 13 when she reached the finals of an Dolly Magazine competition. Cornish began modeling at 13 years old after she won a Dolly magazine competition. In 1999, Cornish received the Australian Film Institute Young Actor's Award. She was then given a role in The Monkey's Mask, her first feature film. Abbie was Penne in "Life Support" the film that is a humorous, often dark, look at Australian life through the ever-present lifestyle show lens on television. Cornish was also featured in the film Everything Goes, which Hugo Weaving won in 2004. Cornish was awarded the Australian Film Institute Award as Best Actress in a Leading Role and the Best Actress at both the FCCA and IF Awards. She also was awarded the award for Best Breakthrough Performance at the Miami International Film Festival 2005 for her performance in Somersault. Cornish was a co-star with Heath Ledger in Candy, was praised by critics. In addition, she has been featured in A Good Year, Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Kimberly Peirce's Stop-Loss. Her starring role as Fanny Brawne, the Romantic poet John Keats's Romantic poet, Bright Star in Jane Campion's 2009 film was a huge success. Cornish was chosen to play Fanny Brawne in Limitless which was the film adaptation from the novel The Dark Fields[6written by Neil Burger. Also starring Bradley Cooper & Robert De Niro, Cornish was seen in Limitless in April of 2010.
