 Demi Gene Moore[n1] (/d@’mi:/d@-MEE][12] nee Guynes born November 11, 1962)[13]) is an American actress. Moore made her debut on film in the year 1981. She was a part of the soap opera General Hospital (1982-1984). Moore became famous as an actor in the Brat Pack member with appearances in Blame It on Rio (1984), St. Elo's Fire (1985) and About Last Night... (1986). The role she made her debut in the film Ghost (1990), which was the top-grossing film of the year, was her starring part. Her performance was highly praised and resulted in an Golden Globe nomination.She had further box-office success during the 1990s, with the films A Few Good Men (1992), Indecent Proposal (1993) as well as Disclosure (1994). Moore was the highest-paid actress of film history in 1996 , when she received $12.5 million to be a part of Striptease. Her starring roles in the films The Scarlet Letter (1995), The Juror (1996) and G.I. Jane (1997).
