William Patrick Spencer Gold, also known as Wilbur Soot (born 14 September 1996) is a British Twitch streamer and YouTuber. In 2017, he became well-known for his involvement in the SootHouse group comedy YouTube channel, on which he was a regular guest and co-founder. He later started his own channel, Wilbur Soot, in March of this year. Gold released his first single, "The 'Nice Guy' Ballad", in January 2018. The sixth track, "Your New Boyfriend" was a top-ranked single, reaching No. 65 on the UK Singles Chart. Gold is co-founder of British indie rock band Lovejoy. He is the singer-songwriter and songwriter as well as the rhythm guitarist. In 2021 the band released Pebble Brain, their second EP, which peaked at No. 12 on the UK Albums Chart.
