BuzzFeed News launched an investigation into Robbins' sexual harassment of staff and fans in May 2019. The article also claims that at least two eyewitnesses witnessed the incident. Other media outlets also covered the allegations. Robbins denied the allegations and brought suit against BuzzFeed News in Ireland. BuzzFeed News responded that Robbins denied wrongdoing , and filed suit on BuzzFeed News in Ireland.
