BuzzFeed News launched an investigation into Robbins' sexual harassment of staff and fans in May 2019. BuzzFeed News responded that Robbins denied wrongdoing , and filed suit on BuzzFeed News in Ireland. They said they stand behind their reporting and suggested Robbins's decision not to make summons filing in Ireland was a violation of the Irish court.
