Tonie Perensky

 Canada is the country where Tonie was born and was raised. Tonie has a rich theatrical experience. At age 16, she was voted "Top Teen Actor in the Provence." This honor was awarded to her, without doubt, as a result of her accomplishments as a talented student who, aged 13 was chosen to be part of an unorthodox program that involved her working alongside the most prestigious few University of Alberta BFA Grad students. The program was under the direction of New York's Mark Schoenberg. (Schoenberg is most well-known as a director at forefront of avant-guard theater in Alberta with the likes of the highly regarded late Sir John Neville. )Of her role in TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE The Next Generation Joe Leydon of VARIETY's Joe Leydon said she was "...the most stunningly sexy sociopath to hit the screen since Linda Fiorentino steamed up THE LAST SESSION." Abbie Bernstein of DRAMA-LOGUE wrote, "Perensky is terrific as Darla the sexy real estate agent who is in cahoots with Vilmer (MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY," (who plays her lover in the film.)Ms. Perensky has been on a hiatus from acting due to a tragedy in her family. She has recently been discussing her participation in a very coveted role in a groundbreaking film that begins filming in August 2015.
