 Mark William Calaway (born March 24 1965) who is more well-known by the ring name The Undertaker, is an American professional wrestler who retired. Calaway is widely recognized as one of America's top professional wrestlers. He spent most of his time working for WWF/E. The "Deadman" Undertaker gimmick was critically acclaimed and he was later inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. 12. Calaway remains employed for WWE with a contract of 15 years that was signed in 2019.Calaway began his professional career in 1987. He began performing various gimmicks with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) and other affiliate promotions. He was the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, and the WCWA Texas Heavyweight Champion. Following his signing with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1989, he enjoyed a brief stint in the mid-card under the name "Mean" Mark Callous, before joining the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, changed to WWE) in 1990.Calaway was rebranded "The Undertaker" once joining the WWF. One of WWE's most high-profile and well-known characters, [14][15] The Undertaker is famous for his funereal, undead macabre "Deadman" persona. Calaway was well-known for The Streak, a string of 21 consecutive victories. His in-storyline halfbrother Kane is another reason he is popular. They had alternately feuded with each other and worked in tandem as the Brothers of Destruction, from 1997 to the year 2020. Calaway has won the WWF/E Championship 4 times, the World Heavyweight Championship 3 times and the Hardcore Championship 1 time. He also took home the World Tag Team Championship 6 times. He also won the Royal Rumble match in 2007. He is one of the most frequent pay-per view performers in WWE and has headlined several pay-per-view events and events, including WrestleMania at five times. Undertaker quit professional wrestling in 2020 . He was a guest at that year's Survivor Series, 30 years ago from when he made his debut on the screen with the company's same pay-per-view event brand. Later in the year, the Undertaker was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the role of the Class of 2022's headline inductee.
