Skylar Mays

 Mays was the Tigers' starting point-guard in his freshman season. Mays averaged 8.3 points, 2. Rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.3 steals across 31 games (25 starts). In his sophomore year, Mays averaged 11.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as well as 1.6 steals per game. Mays averaged 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game as a junior and was named second-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) and the scholar-athlete of year in the conference. Mays made his 1,000th point in a career-high game against Texas A&M on February 26 in 2019. He was also named the 45th best college basketball player heading into the 2019-20 season by CBS Sports. Mays scored 30 points, breaking the record, in a loss against Utah State on November 22 the 22nd of November, 2019. Mays set a new personal record of 30 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds during an overtime defeat to Auburn on February 8, 2020. In the end of the regular season, he was again named a first team Academic All-American and was selected as the Academic All-American of the year as well as the First Team All-SEC and was named the scholar-athlete of the season for the second consecutive season. Mays averaged 16.7 ppg and 5.0 rebounds per game.
