Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23rd in 1976) is a Canadian and American actor. His first role was in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991-1993) in addition to having had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds later appeared in a wide variety of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005) and The Proposal (2009). Reynolds also starred in the roles of a drama in Buried (2010) and Woman in Gold (2015). Reynolds was the voice of Detective Pikachu in animated movies Turbo (2013) as well as Deadpool 2 (2018). He broke numerous records in R-rated comedy at the time when the film was released and received nominations for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globe Awards. In 2010 He was named People's Sexiest Men Alive and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017. He also is a businessman and holds an interest in Mint Mobile.
