Nicholas Perry was born in Ukraine on May 19, 1992. Perry was adopted by an American family in his infant years , and was raised in Harrisburg. Perry was aware of his adoption at an early age and as a result acted out, leading to his attending therapy sessions and being prescribed antidepressants when he was seven. Perry was diagnosed later with obsessive-compulsive disorder as well as attention deficit disorder.Perry majored in performance at the college level. Perry worked as an independent violinist and was an employee at Home Depot worker. He relocated to New York City in 2013 to pursue his goal to play in a Broadway orchestra. But he was difficult to make a decent living in a city that was populated by other talented musicians.According to a video from 2016, Perry first met Orlin Home via a vegan Facebook group. Home and Perry have been online for a few several months. After their trip to Central America in 2013, Perry and Home began a relationship. In early 2014, Perry decided to leave his career in music to live in the same house with Home in Colombia.
