Jax was selected from NXT to Raw as part of the 2016 WWE Draft. This led to a win streak against numerous opponents. Jax also performed a attack on Fox through a ringside barricade. In an rematch Jax defeated Fox through pinfall in the Clash of Champions preshow on the 25th of September. Jax was added to Team Raw on November 20 which was the tag team's five-on-5 elimination match. Becky Lynch eliminated Jax via pinfall. The result was two matches between them which Jax was first victorious at the Royal Rumble pre-show on January 29th, 2017, but lost in March in Fastlane.On April 3, WrestleMania 33, Jax competed in a fatal four-way elimination match with Banks, Bayley and Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship, but she was eliminated first On the show on June 26, Raw, Jax competed in an elimination match that determined the best contender to Alexa Bliss's Raw Women's Championship which saw her eliminate Bayley, Mickie James, Dana Brooke and Emma consecutively before losing to Banks. Jax participated in a fatal five-way match at No Mercy to compete for the Raw Women's Championship but was unsuccessful. Jax was also part of Team Raw's five-on-five elimination tag-team match on November 19, from which she was eliminated via countout.
