Morgan Freeman

 Morgan Freeman[2] was born June 1, 1937. He is an American actor and director. He is renowned for his distinctive voice and a variety of roles in a wide variety of film genres. Through his long career that spans over five decades, he's received multiple accolades, including the Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Golden Globe Award.Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Freeman was raised in Mississippi where he began acting in school plays. In his early days, he was a stage actor and studied theater arts in Los Angeles. He gained fame in the 1970s due to his role in the TV show for children, The Electric Company. Freeman was also part of the Shakespearean plays Coriolanus that earned the actor an Obie Award. Street Smart (1987), in which he portrayed an entrepreneur, was his breakout role. He was awarded an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting actor. He was a star through Glory (1989) as well as the biographical drama Lean on Me (1989), and comedy-drama
