Meghan was born in Los Angeles, California. Her acting career started at Northwestern University; her last and most notable screen appearance was that of Rachel Zane for seven seasons (2011-2018) in the American TV legal drama Suits. She also has a social media following. The Tig (2014-2017), the lifestyle blog she developed, was well-loved for her style and resulted in the creation and the launch of two clothing lines between 2015 and 2016. Meghan was also involved in charitable causes with a focus on women's issues. From 2011 to their divorce in 2014, she was married to Trevor Engelson, an American film producer. In the year 2018 Meghan took a break from her duties of acting on her wedding to Prince Harry and became known as The Duchess Of Sussex. They have two children: Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten Windsor. They retired as working royals in January of 2020 and settled in California. In October 2020, they created Archewell Inc., an American public-private partnership which focuses on non-profit initiatives and ventures in creative media. She wrote an illustrated book, The Bench which was aimed at children. She also launched a Spotify podcast called Archetypes.
