Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick (January 19 1992 - September 7 2018, 2018), known professionally as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer of records. Miller started his career in the hip hop scene of Pittsburgh in 2007 at the age of fifteen. He signed a agreement with Rostrum Records in 2010 and released his groundbreaking mixtapes K.I.D.S. (2010) and Best Day Ever (2011). Blue Slide Park, Miller's first studio album, was the first album that was independently released. It reached the top of the US Billboard 200 in 1995. After his second studio album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off (2013), he quit Rostrum and signed with the main label Warner Bros. Records in 2014. The album was released together with them: GO :ODAM (2015) The Divine Feminine (2016) and Swimming (2018). The posthumous Circles (2020) was also the fourth album he released. He was posthumously nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for Swimming. Under the name of Larry Fisherman, he also was a music editor and producer for many artists, including himself.
