Lucy Verasamy

 Following graduation, Verasamy enrolled and was employed as a meteorologist in the Press Association's Weather Centre (Later changed its name to Meteogroup - Europe's Largest private weather company) - writing national and international weather forecasts for radio, television, and Newspapers. Having previously completed an experience with the Sky Weather Centre prior to becoming a weather forecaster, Verasamy became a part of Sky and was appointed the regular weather host on the Sky News breakfast show Sunrise.In 2007, the Sky News website started a feature titled Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy as part of their Green Britain campaign, where Verasamy addressed questions asked by the public on climate change. She also contributed to Sky News The Weather Girls blog.On the 6th of September, 2010, she joined the brand new ITV Breakfast programme Daybreak, as a weather forecaster and environmental correspondent, along with Kirsty McCabe. On 7 February 2012, McCabe left the programme which left Verasamy the sole weather forecaster. Verasamy was an earlier weather forecaster, was dismissed on February 7, 2012.
