 Dwayne Michael Jr., also known as Lil Wayne (born September 27, 1982), is an American musician and rapper. His career started in 1995 at 12 years old when he signed by the rapper Birdman who then joined Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label. Wayne was named the main artist for Cash Money Records from then until he left the company in June 2018. XXL regarded Wayne as one the most popular rappers of the current generation. He was designated the primary artist for Cash Money Records before he left the label in June of 2018. (at the time, referred to as Lil Doogie) and they released an album called True Story, released that year, even though Wayne (at the time known as Baby D) only appeared on three tracks. B.G. and Wayne were included on the album. After joining the south hip-hop group Hot Boys with Cash Money label co-owners Juvenile Turk and Turk the group released their debut album"Get It How U live! in October of that year. in October that year.
