Kyrie Irving

 Kyrie Andrew Irving (/'kaIri/; Lakota: Hela, lit. American professional basketball player "Little Mountain" (born March 23 in 1992) is the Brooklyn Nets of National Basketball Association (NBA). He was named the Rookie of the Year in the year after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection during the 2011 NBA draft. He was a seven-time All-Star and three-time member of the All-NBA Team, he won an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016. In 2016, Irving played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Duke Blue Devils before joining the Cavaliers in the year 2011. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for in the 2014 All-Star Game. Irving scored the championship-winning field goal in the 2016 NBA Finals to complete the Cavaliers their historic win against the Golden State Warriors. Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics after he made another Finals appearance in 2017. He was an Celtic for two seasons following which he joined the Brooklyn Nets as a free agent in the year 2019. He also played for the United States National Team, winning gold at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup as and the 2016 Summer Olympics. He was elected vice president of the National Basketball Players Association in February 2020. This replaces Pau.
