Kirk Cousins

 Kirk Daniel Cousins, born August 19, 1988 is an American football player who plays for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). He played in the NCAA football tournament at Michigan State and was drafted by the team then called the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft as a backup to fellow rookie Robert Griffin III. Cousins played in games during his first three seasons, but was replaced by Griffin after sustaining an injury in 2015. He was the team's starting quarterback until the 2017 season. With the Redskins, Cousins set numerous records for the franchise and was selected to the Pro Bowl.After two years of signing franchise tags, and then being unable to agree with the team over a long-term agreement, Cousins signed a fully guaranteed three-year US$84 million contract with the Vikings as a free agent in 2018. Cousins is ranked 6th in the completion percentage with at least 1,500 attempted passes. He is also eighth in the NFL's career passing rating.
