Kenneth Arnold Chesney, born March 26, 1968, is a famous American country music singer who is songwriter, guitarist, and singer. He has recorded more than 20 albums and has produced more than 40 Top 10 singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, 32 of which have reached the top one. Many of these have also charted within the Top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100, making him one of the top cross-country artists. He has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. Twelve Country Music Associatio Awards have been presented to Chesney, including their top Entertainer of the Year award four times. Additionally, there are eleven Academy of Country Music Awards which Chesney was awarded (including four consecutive Entertainer of the Year awards between 2005 between 2005 and 2008) in addition to six Grammy Award nominations. The 2007 Flip-Flop Summer Tour, which was the best-selling country tour of 2008, was a huge success.
