Justine Bateman

Bateman started her acting career as a teenager playing the role of shallow Mallory Keaton in Family Ties. She continued to play the role until 1989. She was the host of an episode on Saturday Night Live's 13th season in 1988. She was twice nominated for Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe Award for her involvement in Family Ties. [citation needed] She starred in the role of Sarah, Eldard’s girlfriend, in the 1996-97 NBC American edition of Men Behaving Badly. Bateman returned to TV in 2003 with the Showtime mini-series Out of Order. She was with Felicity Huffman, Eric Stoltz and William H. Macy. In the episode "Family Ties" of Arrested Development, she plays Sarah, who is Eldard's girlfriend. However, it transpires that her character is actually Michael Bluth’s sister. He took advantage of her and then pimped her brother. Michael Bluth was played by Bateman's brother Jason.
