Julian Newman

 While attending the public school system at first, Newman moved to Downey Christian School in the fall 2012, where he was able to teach basketball and history. When he was in fifth grade Newman began playing basketball for the middle school team. But after seeing immediate results, scoring as high as 91 points in one game, he received a promotion to the team's varsity. His team competed outside the jurisdiction of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Newman was an 11-year-old guard, was 4 feet 5 inches (1.35m) tall and weighed in at 70 pounds. In spite of wearing the smallest uniform available that he could find, he was required to tighten the shoulders of his shirt with a hair tie and wrap the waistband on his shorts to prevent the pants from falling off. He averaged 12.4 points and 11 assists in his first three starts. [6] He helped lead Downey Christian to a record of 21-6 while being the top player in the state of Florida in assists
