In 2013, Miller appeared in Cycle 20 of the CW Network reality TV show America's Next Top Model, in which she was competing against 15 other models who were aspiring to be models. In the competition, Miller was one of the top contenders, never having been lower than fifth place after the first panel, where she finished in the tenth spot. Miller was among the strongest of her cycle, having won a total of five challenges and received six first call-outs. Miller's image from the painting photoshoot was recognized by Tyra Banks to be among the most impressive photographs produced throughout the history of the show. In Week 8 Miller failed to show any of her shows during LA Style Fashion Week. Miller had to wrestle with her stilettos on the runway in Bali. The judges were impressed with her style, regardless of this. In the final round, the judges were impressed by Miller's poise on the runway, her ease, as well as her style and appeal to girls. Marvin Cortes, a fellow competitor, was eliminated by Miller during the season finale. Miller was the twenty-first winner of America's Next Top Model. Miller's win also means that she's now the sixth America's Next Top Model winner who has never been in the bottom two. Miller was also the second America's Next Top Model winner that has not appeared in the bottom 3. The cycle was preceded by 13's winner Nicole Fox. After Ann Ward, who won cycle 13, she's the second winner to receive six first call-outs.
