Bilzerian played at the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event and finished in the 180th place. Bilzerian was ranked in 180th at the World Main Event of the Series of Poker. Bilzerian publicly defended Alex Rodriguez against allegations that he had illegally gambled. He claimed that he was present at the time that the gambling event was taking place, however Rodriguez wasn't. In November of 2013, Bilzerian was sued by Bradley Ruderman over the winnings of poker games. Joe Rogan has interviewed Bilzerian about his Poker career.
