Coby Bell

 Bell was born in Orange County, California to a white mother and an African-American father, the Broadway actor Michel Bell. Prior to his acting career, Bell attended San Jose State University and received a degree with honors.He started his career with small roles in several shows, including The Parent 'Hood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, ER and Smart Guy, before landing an appearance in thirteen episodes as Patrick Owen in L.A. Doctors.In 1999, Bell landed the role as the character of Officer Ty Davis, Jr. on the NBC drama Third Watch. Bell was one of five cast members from the beginning who remained on the show for the duration of its six seasons. In the course of the show's run the actor co-starred on Safe the Musical, a critically acclaimed script written by Third Watch co-star Anthony Ruivivar. The show starred Third Watch actors Jason Wiles and Yvonne Jung. Bell was in the Third Watch American edition of The Weakest Link. In 2005, Bell landed a recurring part on UPN's comedy series Half & Half. Bell portrays Glen Stallworth, a San Francisco firefighter. He's initially scheduled for an evening with Mona but ends up being drawn to her mother, Phyllis (played beautifully by Telma Hopkins). Although he only appeared in three episodes, Bell's character was referenced throughout the final season and fourth.
