Chris Rock

Christopher Julius Rock (born February 7 1965) is an American stand-up comedian actor, actor, and film maker. He is well-known for his comedy film TV, stage, and work. He has won multiple awards, which include four Primetime Emmy Awards, three Grammy Awards, and four Grammy Awards for best comedy album. He was ranked No. 5 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.He was also ranked as at No. Rock was a comedian for many years and appeared in small roles, such as Beverly Hills Cop II. He also ranked No. 5 on Rolling Stone's 50 Best Stand-up comedians of All Time. While at SNL Rock was in the films New Jack City, Boomerang and CB4 as well as wrote and directed. The critically-acclaimed 1996 HBO comedy special Bring the Pain, which was the fifth of five, established him as an international star. His other HBO comedy specials include Bigger & Blacker (1999), Never Scared (2004), Kill the Messenger (2008), and Chris Rock: Tamborine (2018). He created, wrote and directed, and also narrated and produced the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris (2005-2009) and was based on his childhood life. The talk show he hosted, The Chris Rock Show (2000-2000), was broadcast by HBO. The show received critical praise for his interviews featuring celebrities and politicians.
