Leah Van Dale, born October 23, 1987 is an American professional wrestler. She is currently signed by WWE which is where she wrestles on the Raw brand under the ring name Carmella and has been a former WWE SmackDown Women's Champion, WWE Women's Tag Team Champion and WWE 24/7 Champion.In June 2013, Van Dale signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to their development brand NXT in Orlando, Florida. She was paired with Enzo Amore as well as Colin Cassady in October 2014. In July 2016 she made her main-line debut on SmackDown. In June 2017, Carmella was the winner of the first women's Money in the Bank ladder match. In April of 2018, she was the first female in WWE history to cash in her Money in the Bank opportunity by defeating Charlotte Flair to win the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship.In 2019, Carmella won both the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal as well as the WWE 24/7 Championship. After being selected as part of the 2021 Draft in November 2021 Carmella joined forces and was selected to Raw. They were able to win the Wrestlemania Women's Tag Team Championsh.
