Antonio Brown

The first time Brown played for the Steelers, the team advanced to Super Bowl XLV , but was defeated by the Green Bay Packers. In his first season, Brown had 16 receptions and 167 yards over ten games. He became the first NFL player to accumulate over 1,000 yards receiving and returning in his second NFL season. For his efforts, Brown was selected as punt returner for the 2012 Pro Bowl. In 2013, which was his breakout season, he became the only player in NFL history to record five receptions and at least 50 yards in every single game during the NFL season. Brown's field performance did not diminish in the following seasons. He led the league in receiving yards and receptions in 2015, 2014 and 2017 as well as receiving yards and touchdowns in the 2018 season. But his relationship to the Steelers was not a good one, especially in relation to Ben Roethlisberger. In 2019, Brown was traded the Oakland Raiders who made him the highest-paid receiver of the league. But his time in Oakland was brief, and following several off-the-field incidents, including a confrontation with general manager Mike Mayock, the team removed Brown and he was never allowed to play any regular-season games with the team. Brown was signed shortly thereafter with the New England Patriots, but was dismissed after appearing in a single game. The NFL was investigating allegations of sexual assault against Brown at the time. He was an unrestricted free agent for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020, but the team he joined was Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With them, he won Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs. After removing his uniform, he ran off the field against the New York Jets and was later released.
