50 Cent

 Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6 1975) is an American actor as well as a rapper and businessman. Jackson was born in South Jamaica, Queens. His musical career began by releasing Power of the Dollar, Columbia Records' 2000 release. However, Jackson was shot days prior to the release date and the album not released. Following 50 Cent's mixtape Guess who's back came out in 2002? He was discovered by Eminem and signed to Shady Records, under the supervision of Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.His first major-label album Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2003), was a massive commercial success. The Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "In da Club", "21 Questions" and "In da Club" were the result of the album. It was also certified platinum 9x by the Recording Industry Association of America. The rapper also launched G-Unit Records that year, signing his G-Unit buddies Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, as well as Tony Yayo. This was before he was named the leader of East Coast hip-hop group G-Unit. 50 Cent enjoyed similar commercial and critical success with his second album, The Massacre (2005), featuring the hit song "Candy Shop". After his fifth album, Animal Ambition (2014) he underwent major musical changes and is making his sixth studio record. He was the co-executive producer and the star of Power (2014-2020) and will be producing its spin-off.
