Sharon Stone

 Sharon Vonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role as femme fatales and as women who are mysterious in both film and television. She was among the most well-known sexually explicit icons in the 1990s. She has been awarded numerous awards such as an award from the Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Stone was given an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame 1995 and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters France in 2005 (Commander in 2021). Stone also played her first role as an actor in the horror film of Wes Craven Deadly Blessing (1981). She was in films like Irreconcilable distinctions (1984), King Solomon's Mines (85), Cold Steel (1987) and Above the Law (1988). Her breakout role in Paul Verhoeven's science-fiction action movie Total Recall (1990) was her most memorable. The actress then gained international fame after she was Catherine Tramell, a trophy wife, in Basic Instinct (1992). DramaStone was the first actress to receive a Golden Globe Award nomination and an Academy Award nomination. Stone's other notable movies include Sliver (1993), The Specialist (1998) and The Mighty (1998), The Muse (1999), Catwoman (2006), Bobby (2006) and Lovelace (2006). The actress's portrayal of Catherine Tramell in the Verhoeven film TotalRecall (1990) brought her the first Golden Globe nomination in the category of the Best Actress in Motion Pictures. The actress also earned an Academy Award nomination in the category of the Best Actress. Stone's television roles include the ABC miniseries War and Remembrance (2017) and Steven Soderbergh's Mosaic (2017) as well as Ryan Murphy's Ratched (2020). Stone appeared as a guest actor in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2004) and The Practice (2004), which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Guest actress in the Drama Series.
