Shania Twain

 Eilleen Regina "Shania" Twain nee Edwards born on 28 August 1965) is a Canadian artist and singer. She is the most-sold female artist in country music history, and she is also among the top-selling artists in music history. The band was called"the "Queen of Country Pop" because of her popularity. Billboard ranked her as the "Queen of Country Pop" and also the top of the country-pop crossover artists of the 1990s. She was born in Timmins, Ontario. The self-titled debut studio album failed commercially after its release in 1993.After collaboration with producer and husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Twain rose to fame through her second studio album, The Woman in Me (1995) that brought her widespread popularity. It sold more than 20 million copies worldwide it was followed by eight singles including "Any Man of Mine" and earned her an Grammy Award. [10] Come on Over (1997) was her third studio album and became the best-selling album in any genre by an artist of female origin. The album also sold over 40 million copies all over the globe. Twelve singles were produced by Come Over and include "You’re still the one" and "From This Moment to Now, "That Don’t Impress Me Much" and "Man!" I Feel like a Woman!" Twain won four Grammy Awards. Her fourth studio album, Up! (2002), spawned eight singles, including "I'm Gonna Getcha Good! ", "Ka-Ching!" ", "Ka-Ching!" Shania Twain released "Today Is Your Day" the first single in six-years, in the year 2011 and also released her autobiography "From This Moment to." Twain returned to the stage in 2012 with an exclusive time slot at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Shania: Still the One that ran through 2014. The tour was launched by Twain in the year 2014. North American Rock This Country Tour in 2015 and it was her last tour. Twain's first studio album in 15-years, Now, was released in the year 2017. She then embarked upon the Now Tour in 2018. 2019 was the start of her second Las Vegas residency, "Let's Go!" at Zappos Theater.Twain has received five Grammy Awards, a World Music Award, 27 BMI Songwriter Awards, stars on Canada's Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as inductions into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. According to the RIAA she's the only female artist who has had three (consecutive) albums that are certified Diamond by the RIAA [20] and is the sixth best-selling female artist in the United States. Twain was ranked 10th in the Nielsen SoundScan era.
