Selena Gomez

 Selena Marie Gomez, /s@'li?n@ /goUmez/s@-LEEn@ GoHmez; born on July 22 1993) is an American performer, actress and film producer. Gomez started her acting career with the popular children's TV show Barney & Friends (2002-2004). As a teenager she became famous in the role of Alex Russo on the Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012). In addition to her TV career, Gomez appeared in the films Another Cinderella Story (2008), Princess Protection Program (2009), Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2009), Ramona and Beezus (2010), Monte Carlo (2011), Spring Breakers (2012), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), The Dead Don't Die (2019) and A Rainy Day in New York (2019). The production company she runs, July Moon Productions, also produced 13 Reasons Why (2017-2022) and Living Undocumented (1919). She also stars in the Hulu mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building (2020-present) and executive produces the HBO Max cooking series Selena + Chef (2021-present). The latter has earned Gomez not only praise from the critics, but also was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy series at the Critics Choice Television Awards. she was also nominated as a producer for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.Gomez released three albums in her previous band, Selena Gomez & the Scene and the Scene, which all reached the top ten of the US Billboard 200 and were certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA): Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010), and When the Sun Goes Down (2011). Stars Dance, her debut solo album, was a huge success on the U.S. Billboard 200, while its first single, "Come & Get It" made it to the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. The second album of Gomez, Revival (2015) debuted at number 1 in the US. It was certified platinum by RIAA and produced three top ten songs in the US: "Good for You" and "Same Old Love", and "Hands to Myself". The third album of her studio, Rare (2020), has been her third consecutive number one in the US and featured the lead single, "Lose You to Love Me", her first top-ten hit song in the US and Canada. She also released Revelacion in Spanish, which earned her an Grammy Award nomination for Best Latin Pop Album.
