Wersching began her acting career through her appearance as a guest on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, then she went on to play playing guest stars on such shows as Charmed, Killer Instinct Supernatural and Cold Case. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap drama General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. She also has worked in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season stint in 24, Wersching was a guest on a variety of shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which stars her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was an actor in the first season of Amazon Prime crime show Bosch.Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game in December 2012 It was revealed that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. Her character was teased by Geoff Keighley's Twitter page before she was revealed in the story trailer shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching would be playing the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard
