Ronda Rousey

 Ronda Jean Rousey (born on February 1st in 1987) was an American professional actress and wrestler. She currently is signed to WWE and performs on the SmackDown brand. She is the current SmackDown Women's Champion in her second term. Her time competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship is what is what makes her the most well-known. Roddy Pipe, a professional wrestler, gave her the nickname "Rowdy". Rousey was the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in judo during the 2008 Summer Olympics. Rousey started her mixed martial arts (MMA) career in the year 2011 with King of the Cage. She later became a member of Strikeforce and was their final Women's Bantamweight Champion until its acquisition by UFC. [15] Rousey was the first female-only fight at UFC 157, was their first Women's Champion in the Bantamweight division, and held the record for most UFC title defends by females until being surpassed by Valentina Shevchenko in 2022. Rousey was a retired fighter from MMA in 2016, was the first female fighter to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame 2018. Rousey started a career as professional wrestler in the year 2018, when she joined WWE and began her career at Wrestlemania 34. She was Raw Women's Champion at the event that year's SummerSlam and headlined WWE's inaugural all-women's pay-per-view where she was defending her title in WWE Evolution. Rousey lost her title at the first ever women's WrestleMania main event at Wrestlemania 35. Rousey was the winner of the Royal Rumble 2022 women's Royal Rumble match. In a defeat she took on Charlotte Flair to the SmackDown Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 38. In WrestleMania Backlash in the month following, Rousey defeated Flair in an "I Quit" match to win the SmackDown Women's Championship. Because of a bank withdrawal the title was lost to Liv Morgan. However, she won it back at Extreme Rules to win the SmackDown Women's Championship. In a 2015 ESPN fan poll she was named the top female athlete. Fox Sports also described her as "one the greatest athletes of the 21st century." Rousey also appears in films like The Expendables 3 (2014) and Furious 7 (2015).
