Ron Howard

 Born on March 1st, 1954. Ronald William Howard is an American screenwriter, producer and actor. Howard made his name as an actor in his early years. Howard was a guest on various television shows, like The Twilight Zone. He was the teen Opie Taylor who played the role of the son of Sheriff Andy Taylor from 1960 until 1968 in The Andy Griffith Show. He was also in The Music Man (1962) which was a critical and commercial success. From 1959 until 1973, Howard was known as Ronny Howard. Howard played one of the most prominent characters in American Graffiti (1973). Howard became famous for his role as Richie Cunningham on Happy Days (1974-1980). In the year 1980, Howard shifted his focus on directing, producing and occasionally writing television and film series. The comedy films Night Shift (1982), Splash(1984) and Cocoon (1985) were among them, along with the fantasy Willow (1988), Backdraft (1991) and Backdraft (1991) as The Paper (1994), an improvised newspaper comedy. Howard was highly praised and acknowledged in the 1995 docudrama historical Apollo 13 (1995). Howard has continued to make films like the biographical film A Beautiful Mind (192001) as well as the biographical sports drama Cinderella Man (2006), the historical drama Frost/Nixon (2008) and the biographical sports drama Rush (2013). Howard directed the film of historical adventure In the Heart of the Sea (2015). Howard is also famous for his work in directing the children's fantasy film How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and also as the Robert Langdon series, The Da Vinci Code (2006) and Angels & Demons (2009). Inferno (2016) and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). Howard also directed The Beatles: Eight Days a Week (2016), Pavarotti (2019). Howard was given the Academy Award as Best Director as well as the Academy Award as Best Picture for A Beautiful Mind. Howard was also nominated for Frost/Nixon. He also received the National Medal of Arts in 2003. In 2013 Howard was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. He was admitted into the Television Hall of Fame in 2013.
